President Rodrigo Duterte will give a bonus ranging from P50,000 to P400,000 to each top police officials for the “successful” war on drugs according to Philippine National Police Director General Ronald “Bato” dela Rosa on Monday, December 19.
“That’s how much he (President) supports the PNP. Love na love niya ang PNP kaya lahat tayo happy,” Dela Rosa said in his speech during the Christmas party of police offials together with their families in Camp Crame.
Gen. Bato emphasized that this would be the first time that a President would give Christmas bonus to PNP officials.
Dela Rosa told officials to get their Christmas bonuses from P400,000 as the highest and P100,000 as the lowest for the star-rank officers, while among the non –star-rank, they will receive P50,000.
The highest PNP official is expected to bring home P400,000 while command group members, regional directors, and heads of national support units will receive P100,000.
P50,000 will also be given to senior superintendent and below.
